- Beginner Running Route:
The Richmond Canal walk is literally right outside our front door! This route is great for those just starting their running routine or those who are supplementing in between their weights. - Long Distance Running Route:
The Virginia Capitol Trail is over 50 miles of routes. Though we aren’t saying you have to run THAT much, it is definitely the place if you’re more of a distance runner than a sprinter. You access this trail from the Shockoe Bottom Bus Station. The various routes have rolling hills so you can get those calves and hamstrings burning.

Just a hop and a skip from our doorstep, you can stretch your way into feeling good at the Mindfulness Bar. Their schedule is packed full of not only Yoga classes but they also offer meditation. Perfect for the business traveler who needs a moment of Zen during their day!

When you stay with us, you are offered complementary use of the YMCA Fitness center located on 10th Street, between Main & Cary inside the Suntrust Building. So, if you’re more of a traditional exerciser we have got you covered here. The Y offers state of the art equipment, personal training options, free weights & circuit machines as well as group classes.
