The Christopher Newport Ballroom and The Jamestown Room are  prestigious venues for special events and the scene of many a Richmond society wedding, ball and state banquet. These rooms are also a handsome and versatile space for business conferences, receptions, and lunches  for as few as 6 guests to as many as 150.

The Ballroom has been carefully decorated with a lavish European ambiance including rich mahogany, brass, damask wall covering and luxurious carpet. Tables laid with linen, polished silver, shiny glassware, porcelain china, votive candles, and floral centerpieces will create the perfect Group Dining experience.

The Jamestown Room is our newest addition to the family and has a cobblestone view of Cary Street. This room is a must see for cocktail parties, luncheons, brunches, ceremonies. receptions, showers, and more.

The Map Room, named for the Historic Maps that grace its walls, is an intimate and comfortable favorite for small meetings and meals. The room is decorated with mahogany, brass and comfortable leather chairs around a boardroom table accommodating up to 10 guests. Amenities include a private restroom, wireless high- speed Internet access, television, video-cassette recorder, speakerphone, white board, and screen.
